GPTBot is blocked (and how to unblock it)

robots.txt or a firewall rule blocks GPTBot, often added by a plugin during a "block AI training" change and never revisited.

Run this against your own domain:

How to fix it

Decide whether you want retrieval (being cited) or only training blocked, then write that decision down: allow the retrieval agents, and if you block training, say so explicitly instead of blocking everything.
